Health Education (HE) is an educational process that aims to popularize information and knowledge about health care, disease prevention and strategies to minimize current public health problems. Within schools, this educational process is usually associated with the teaching of Science and Biology due to the conceptual relationship of their approaches. Aiming to analyze the didactic methodologies used in the teaching of Science and Biology to promote the theme of HE, this bibliographical research carried out a survey of some works that present adequate resources for the development of HE. It was identified that games, comics, three-dimensional materials, visual resources of slides, Digital Information and Communication Technologies, animation video and other resources are efficient to promote SE, during Basic Education, when educators are motivated to develop meaningful learning with their students. Thus, didactic resources can be considered efficient didactic instruments with regard to the promotion of HE when used properly, through prior planning and objectives established in accordance with the National Common Curricular Base.
