Studies on cells should be approached from basic education so that young people can associate this knowledge with the problems of their daily lives from an early age. This work aimed to analyze didactic methodologies used in Basic Education to develop the Cell Biology (CB) theme. Through a bibliographical analysis, it was observed that several educators make use of: modeling clay, card and board games, food and graphic representations as facilitating resources in CB teaching. It was possible to identify that these resources favor teaching and learning about cells and their structures in a playful and attractive way.
