The participation of undergraduate course students in school activities is essential for them to understand the dynamics of their training and later professional performance in the field of teaching. Thus, this work aimed to describe experiences lived by resident students during the Pedagogical Residency Program during remote classes. The program works similarly to a paid internship. Through it, the student can develop teaching activities before effectively entering the job market. From the scholarship, the resident academic has the possibility of developing the project with better performance, and, in addition, there is greater communication between the Higher Education Institution (HEI) and the field-school. During the program, the student was able to acquire experiences in remote learning, as the activities were all carried out in this way due to the Coronavirus pandemic (SARS-CoV-2). The resident had to not only look for tools that contribute to distance learning, but also learn to use and apply them as support in his “teaching” journey. Tools such as Google Meet®, Canva®, Google Forms®, YouTube® and others that have contributed to the development and preparation of content for high school students. In this six-month period, which comprises the first module of the Residency Program, the resident was able to accumulate knowledge that is extremely important for remote learning, teaching that has been increasingly intensified.
