Chemical control has not shown efficiency in certain Brazilian regions, due to the habit of Spodoptera eridania caterpillars remaining in the lower region of the leaves, making it difficult for the chemical molecule to reach the target. Therefore, the objective of the work was to verify the efficiency of the biological product based on Bacillus thuringiensis in the control of the Spodoptera eridania caterpillar. The work was carried out at the Ãgua Boa farm located in the municipality of Paragominas-PA. The experimental design used was completely randomized, with 4 treatments and 4 repetitions, the treatments were: 1 - Control; 2 - Xentari + Klorpan (biological); 3 - Dimax + Klorpan; 4 - Premium + Gross. The parameters evaluated were level of width and control, defoliation, phytotoxicity, weight of a thousand grains, humidity, cost x benefit and productivity. The data were submitted to analysis of variance (ANOVA) and compared by the Tukey test, at 5% probability. The biological insecticide based on Bacillus thuringiensis, Xentari + Klorpan provided greater control of Spodoptera eridania caterpillars, better productivity and soybean yield, in the municipality of Paragominas. It is noteworthy that this biological insecticide provided benefits both for the producer, with regard to productivity and profit, and for the environment.
