This work aimed to provide an overview of the conservation status of species of the Priapulida and Onychophora phyla in Brazil. this, raw data from the “Red Book of the Brazilian Fauna Endangered with Extinction” were used, where the species of the groups were listed. Through the exploration and analysis of this material, it was found that most species of Onychophores and priapulids are included in the Insufficient Data (DD) category of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). This situation shows that, despite advances in research involving taxonomic and phylogenetic aspects for these phyla, there is a tiny number of studies that explore and discuss their behavioral, ecological and conservationist aspects, serving as a driver for the development and execution of research that contribute to the conservation of the Priapulida and Onychophora phyla in Brazil and worldwide.
