The present work aimed to report an experience involving the application of an interdisciplinary Didactic Sequence (SD) on soils and their conservation linked to Environmental Education (EE). The SD was applied by Science, Geography and Mathematics teachers to 42 students enrolled in the 7th year of elementary school II at a private educational institution, located in Natal, RN. The SD was structured based on the dynamics of the Three Pedagogical Moments systematized by Delizoicov, Angotti and Pernambuco (2011) and involved activities such as: i) use of problematizing questions about the soil and its conservation, ii) dialogic class on properties, types of soils , soil degradation, pollution and conservation; and, field class in the surroundings of the school to collect pollutants and photographic records of the soils, iii) elaboration and socialization of socio-environmental posters about the soils. In general, through applied SD, it was possible to work with the soil theme associated with EE activities, which helped students understand the importance of soil and its conservation.
