Patients with chronic renal failure have high symptomatology in the presence of enteroparasites, which leads to a worsening of the health status of these individuals. Therefore, it is essential to identify and characterize these parasitic infections, especially the diagnosis and monitoring of patients. Considering the importance of nursing diagnoses for better targeting of care that lead to an improvement in the health status of patients and also considering that the presence of intestinal parasites in them, leads to an aggravation of symptoms and consequently worsens the condition of health and quality of life. , the present study aimed to outline the main nursing diagnoses (ND) and nursing interventions for hemodialysis patients with positive diagnosis and symptomatic for intestinal parasites. This is a cross-sectional study, with a non-probabilistic sample, with a population of 53 individuals with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis, living in the municipality of Cáceres/MT. For descriptive analysis, frequency and Pearson's chi-square test were used and to describe nursing diagnoses, the Nursing Diagnostics taxonomy of NANDA-I was used and for nursing interventions the Classification of Nursing Interventions taxonomy - NIC. All 53 participants had at least one symptom, the most reported of which were: postprandial fullness (58.5%), adynamia (58.5%), flatulence (50.9%), abdominal pain (39, 6%), itching and bloating (34%) and nausea (24.5%). For the symptoms referred by the patients, 11 NDs were detected, classified according to their relevance: Dysfunctional gastrointestinal motility; Impaired physical mobility; Imbalanced nutrition: less than body needs; Acute pain; Impaired skin integrity; Nausea; Diarrhea; Impaired comfort; Risk of electrolyte imbalance; Risk of infection and Risk of shock. The ND must be carried out correctly and with great attention, in order to avoid losses and neglect of important information, which can harm the care for the individual. Therefore, the importance of the nursing process to hemodialysis patients with enteroparasitosis, as it results in a better visualization of the individual's health situation, paying attention to the clinical findings presented and making a routine stool examination request, so that he can thus recognize situations suggestive of enteroparasitosis and to be able to intervene as soon as possible.
