Nursing care in high risk management and the impact of external factors

Studying nursing care in high-risk pregnancy is essential for nurses to understand the necessary interventions in this type of pregnancy, and what preventive measures can be used to avoid premature birth or fetal loss. Another important issue to be highlighted throughout the work is the impact of external factors on high-risk pregnancy, since the family, environment, work environment are the main external factors associated with a pregnancy and can directly influence it. To discuss which main nursing care should be used in high-risk pregnancy, and how external factors impact pregnancy. The search was then carried out in the following NCBI/PubMed databases(National Center for BiotechnologyInformation), SciELO (Scientific Electronic Lirary Online), Google Scholar and Lilacs - Bireme (Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Science Health). As for the delimitation of related topics, the following criteria were used: articles available in full, in Portuguese and English, from 2014 to 2021 with free access and based on the theme. Ten articles were chosen for analysis that discuss aspects related to nursing care in high-risk pregnancy and the impact of external factors in this pregnancy. the occurrence of complications and minimizes the prominent risks to pregnant women. In this way, nurses play an essential role in raising awareness of high-risk pregnant women, and preventing the negative impacts of external factors present in a high-risk pregnancy.
