The objective of this work is to structure a model to evaluate the performance in credit decision making of a Brazilian financial cooperative. It consists of an exploratory case study, with a qualitative and quantitative approach, with the main instrument for data collection being the unstructured interview with the institution's credit team, complemented by documentary analysis. The intervention instrument used was the MCDA-C, allowing to identify, organize, structure and measure the criteria for credit analysis and decision. The model allows the credit team to verify whether the requirements considered are sufficient and adequate, whether they consider qualitative and quantitative items and whether they are satisfactory for the criteria identified by them.
