Average acai production in the states of Pará, Amazonas and Acre had the highest acai production in the period from 2011 to 2017, respectively. While the states of Amapá, Rondônia, Roraima and Tocantins had lower production, respectively. During the study period the state of Pará was the largest producer of acai in northern Brazil. It is necessary to maintain the balance between acai production for employment and income generation while maintaining biodiversity through its proper management.
