Inclusive education is a modality specialized in the student and dedicated to the research and development of new ways of teaching, adequate to the heterogeneity of learners and compatible with the democratic ideals of an education for all. The general objective of the study is to analyze the main challenges faced by teachers and students in relation to inclusive education. Through bibliographical and documentary research, and the approach method employed was qualitative, because throughout the entire research the data collected were read, analyzed, interpreted and described. EI cannot be considered as integrationist, as it does not aim for the child and adolescent to adapt to society, but rather relates to a two-way process, where measures must be taken so that the student can integrate in the best way, but admitting their own difficulties and limitations. That is, EI aims at learning taking into account all aspects and characteristics of all students, striving for equity and valuing differences that are seen as diversities, which makes the process enriching for all. Thus, the learning of children with disabilities is extremely important for their social, cultural, cognitive and emotional development. Thus, it is up to the teacher to use methodologies and practices that help them to develop their skills, obeying the limitations of each student so that their teaching-learning actually takes place.
