The theme ‘my neighborhood’ as a tool for raising awareness in cartography with students from the integrative Project of Research and Articulation with the Territory (EJA’s PIPAT)

The activity was developed in an interdisciplinary way, between science, history, geography and arts subjects. Thus, each teacher addressed a context on the main theme of the project during classes. Subsequently, a practical class was held for modeling clay from modeled from construction clay. With this work it was possible to awaken skills, stimulate artistic production and awaken therapeutic feelings. Learning is an objective that intends to lead the student to a certain type of development, with the intervention of the teacher through pedagogical instruments, contributing to the knowledge of art and culture. Teaching through interdisciplinarity presupposes the use and integration of methods and analyzes of the same theme by several school subjects. Thus, a given subject is approached from multiple perspectives, in classes of different disciplines.
