Check the benefits of small scale wind energy in a school of Salinópolis - PA. The RAZEC 266 wind turbine was installed in the ABRE School, with the objective of saving energy, but it was de-installed due to lack of contract renewal. The objective of this work is to demonstrate the benefits that wind energy could bring to the school if it were still in operation and to evaluate a possible reactivation. The analysis of the wind resource was performed using Hellman's law, power, energy generation and payback calculations, as well as data from CRESESB. With the analysis of the wind energy system, it was verified the viability of the wind turbine in the school, the economic and social benefits, and that its reactivation would bring benefits, and the return on investment would be possible in 10 years.
