The present study analyzes the publications of articles related to internationalization in the Scientific Periodicals Eletronic Library (SPELL) indexing system and in the Annals of the Meetings of the National Association of Postgraduate and Research in Administration (EnANPAD). It used the technique of Social Network Analysis to detail the interactions between authors, identify the networks of authors formed and determine the protagonisms within the field of study. The content analysis technique was used to identify the topics most covered, the most commented countries and regions and the internationalization approaches and methodological approaches most used. The main results highlight the increase in publications focused on internationalization studies, as well as the evidence that the authors' profile is varied and the level of irregular involvement. It is also pointed out that strategy is the area that is most related to internationalization studies, that there is no region or country that has great relevance or prominence in the research and that most articles use a qualitative approach.
