Bridges are considered special works of art, built since ancient times with the objective of transposing obstacles from one side to another without interrupting another route, whether by water or road, they have an estimated useful life, which can be increased or reduced according to several factors, such as chemical, physical and biological agents, which cause the pathologies to appear. It is noticed that bridges, as well as other special works of art, are works that require inspection, as they are subject to deterioration of their structure, and depending on the aggressiveness of the environment, it can lead to the ruins of an entire structure. The purpose of this study is to verify the existing pathologies through visual inspection of the bridge that is located in the Jardim Querido sector, on Avenida João Siruge in the municipality of Porto Nacional -TO, and classify its state of conservation using the literature technique. To carry out the inspection of the concrete structure, the guidelines of NBR 9452 (2019) and the Highway Bridge inspection manual (DNIT – 2004) were followed. According to the NBR 9452 (2019) classification criteria for the condition of special works of art, it was found that the bridge is in regular condition, thus receiving a grade of 3, making a special inspection necessary to obtain more detailed data.
