Bridges are considered special works of art, built since antiquity with the objective of crossing obstacles from one side to another without interrupting another route, whether it’s water or road, they have an estimated lifespan, which can be increased or decreased according to several factors, such as chemical, physical and biological agents, which cause pathologies to appear. In general, these types of structures are susceptible to the appearance of pathologies throughout their useful life. The objective of this study is to analyze the pathological manifestations in reinforced concrete using research in the literature and visual inspection, of the bridge located in the Umuarama sector, on Avenida Joaquim Aires in Porto Nacional - TO, and at the end to give a theoretical opinion on the quality and situation of the same. The inspections followed the guidelines of NBR 9452 (2019) and the Highway Bridge inspection manual (DNIT – 2004). It is concluded that the structure has a regular condition, taking into account the guidelines for classification of special works of arts condition of NBR 9452 (2019, being assigned a grade of 3, which makes a special inspection necessary, which presents more details and further checks the bridge.
