Corporate entrepreneurship is the transformation and reinvention of a company as a whole, and the intrapreneur is the actor who plays this transformation. The theme of this study is a current trend and there is a gap in research on companies that are developing innovations in their processes. The objective of this work is to understand the challenges that a corporate entrepreneur faces to develop innovative actions in a company in the chemical sector. The research is characterized as an exploratory case study, as it seeks to deepen the knowledge about corporate entrepreneurship and its applications within the company Química S.A., with semi-structured interviews, the work had the participation of six interviewees from different areas within the company, with these interviews being analyzed qualitatively about the professionals' discourse. Química S.A. was characterized by respondents as a company that is on the path of innovation, but still does not support its employees who have proactivity, resilience, and a sense of ownership (essential skills in an intrapreneur) in their entrepreneurial trajectory, not offering opportunities or due recognition to them. The company studied is in a deep process of innovation, but it is not able to make tangible and communicate the actions necessary for employees to be recognized, hindering their entrepreneurial journey, and not valuing their attitudes.
