Aspects of the floristic composition, horizontal forest structure, diametric distribution, sample representativeness, similarity and diversity of a population of dense ombrophilous forest were discussed, located in a community located on the banks of the BR 163, municipality of Mojuí dos Campos-PA. Such procedure was carried out through the sampling forest inventory of 18 permanent plots, each with a dimension corresponding to one hectare, distributed in six lots. 9,120 arboreal individuals were surveyed, distributed in 308 species, 177 genera and 59 botanical families. The average population density was 482.5 trees/ha and an average basal area of 22.3 m²/ha. The similarity between the lots was on average 0.7631, which meant a high floristic similarity in the area. Shannon's diversity found was on average 4.77 and Pielou's equitability was 0.84. Concluding that the community management area has a large number of arboreal individuals, with a predominance of a small group of species, the community presented a large number of species with low density.
