The implementation of a solid waste management plan is a procedure that must involve, commitment with the direction of the institution, awareness, training and motivation of all staff involved with waste management. To present proposals for harmonizing the management plan for the main solid waste disposed of in the Rodolfo Aureliano Forum is the general objective of this study. The research is qualitative and quantitative, done to acquire knowledge and verify the current situation of solid waste on site and present proposals for improvement, seeking to contribute to the waste management, according to the Sustainable Logistics Plan of the Court of Justice of Pernambuco and the National Council of Justice. The investigation started with direct and continuous observation of the administrative routine of the site, which includes the way the waste generated inside the unit or as a result of its activities is managed, which precedes and remains during and after the process of preparing this study, so there was a survey of primary data through interviews with managers and operators of the waste, identification of the sources of generation, characterization and gravimetry, The result showed that the current rates of use of recyclable solid waste found are correctly sent to the sorting center of the cooperative Coopagre, however, in relation to organic waste, it was found that they are being handled in an environmentally unsuitable way, where it is wasted unnecessarily and sent as waste to landfills. For the management of discarded solid waste to be successful, with the correct management flow and disposed of in an environmentally appropriate way, it is essential that, after the diagnosis, the planned actions are carried out. Besides these actions, the Law No. 12,305, which establishes the National Policy for Solid Waste, the National Solid Waste Plan, and International Agreements were used to support this study as important environmental management instruments, being important in the search for solutions to meet the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In this sense, it is worth noting the importance that this theme arises as an alternative to minimize the harmful effects that solid waste causes to the environment and public health.
