The aim of this article was to analyze the morphometric indices and parameters as subsidies for morphodynamic characterization and as instruments of environmental planning and management of the Sub-basin of the Upper Middle Rivers Mogi Guaçu and Pardo - MG. The parameters analyzed were the hierarchical order of the channel (U), number of channels (Nu), length of channels (Lu), length of the basin (Lb), bifurcation ratio (Rb), area (A), perimeter (P), drainage density (Dd), river density (Dr), drainage texture (T), elongation ratio (Re), circularity index (Ic), form factor (Ff), maximum altitude (Hmax), minimum altitude (Hmin), basin amplitude (Bh), roughness index (Ir) and concentration time (Tc). The sub-basin, with an area of 5,169.26 km² and predominance of the elongated shape, has drainage density and very high rivers, with dendritic drainage pattern, meandering and rectilinear river morphology. The sub-basin, of 8th hierarchical order, has an amplitude of 1,135 meters, with predominance of medium altitudes and relief ratio of 9.24 m/km, indicative of a slow flow. The parameters evaluated are of fundamental importance for understanding the morphodynamics of the basin and are important instruments for the environmental planning and management process.
