The present research had the objective of evaluating the physical and chemical parameters of the groundwater quality of wells in the Parque Nova Era neighborhood, in Cáceres (MT). For the analysis of the water, 76 wells, of the type cacimba and semi-artesian, were distributed evenly throughout this neighborhood. In the wells, water samples were collected for the analysis of physical and chemical variables, pH, temperature, alkalinity, turbidity, electrical conductivity, and dissolved oxygen. The results of the analyzes allowed the following conclusions: the chemical parameters of the water did not present very high concentrations Brum et al. (2016), although pH, electrical conductivity, and turbidity have presented values outside the permissible standards for human consumption, required by Ordinance 2914/2011; 3 - changes in groundwater are probably due to lack of basic sanitation in the region.
