The study was carried out with the objective of evaluating the development of cowpea cultivars BRS IMPONENTE and BRS TRACUATEUA according to the production of green mass (PMV), aerial part root (RPAR) and fresh root matter (MFR). The treatments used in the work consist of the control treatment (TC) and doses of organic substrates using the açaí seed (CDA), the nutshell (CDC) and the sheep manure (EDO) that went through four repetitions. The experiment was conducted in a greenhouse at the Federal Rural University of the Amazon (UFRA), in a period of 32 days, and a completely randomized design was used with plants from the fertilized and control group. The test used was Tukey's in the Sisvar 5.6 program with 5% variance. It was concluded that the açaí peel obtained advantages over the other treatments, such as greater height gain, production of green mass and fresh root mass, therefore, making clear its productive advantage associated with other natural fertilizers.
