Enteroparasites are responsible for major public health problems, with Brazil being one of the main affected countries. The lack of basic sanitation and adequate cleaning of urban areas can increase the number of infections and deaths. The parasites can be found in the soil of certain public areas, infecting humans and animals that roam the site. This study makes it possible to list the number of parasites found in the sand near the river, a leisure area frequented by the population of the municipality of Cáceres. The parasites can cause diarrhea, malnutrition, weight loss, vomiting, dehydration and anemia among other health problems. The Hoffman method was used to identify the parasites, filtered with a parasite filter and distilled water, with a waiting interval of 30 minutes to 1 hour for decantation, transfer from the cup to the tube and analysis under the microscope, being placed on a slide with lugol. A total of 79% of Blastocystis, 7% of Cryptosporidium, 7% of Endolimax nana and 7% of Neospora were found in the 48 samples collected, being 6 quadrants with 8 collections in each one. These results present a risk factor for visitors to Daveron beach, a leisure and tourism environment for the population, requiring preventive measures and cleaning the place.
