Clean hydrogen, Green fuel, ElectrolysisAbstract
With the predominant use of fossil fuels in various sectors of the global economy, green hydrogen could be the crucial step towards the decarbonization of these economies. Chemical processes of electrolysis obtain this type of hydrogen, breaking the water molecule using electrical energy from renewable sources such as wind and solar energy. Currently, projects aimed at studying the feasibility of producing, storing and transporting this renewable fuel are still in the early stages of development. Therefore, this research aims to bring some concepts related to green hydrogen, informing the current stage of its development, in Brazil and in the world.
