Abstract

Because it has one of the main agricultural and livestock in the world, Brazil is one of the main consumers of pesticides, due to its large production of diversified products. These products are intended to combat pests and diseases in agricultural plantations. The creation of pesticides brought several benefits, mainly reducing production losses. However, despite all the benefits presented, mainly in the economic part, the indiscriminate use of this product without due respect to dosages, application intervals and safety equipment (PPE), can cause damage to human health and the environment. This article aims to disseminate knowledge about chemical components in pesticides, as well as how their large-scale use can harm human health and environmental health.

Possui ensino-medio-segundo-graupela ESCOLA TÉCNICA ESTUDAL DE PALMARES(2017). Tem experiência na área de Engenharia Química, com ênfase em Operações Industriais e Equipamentos para Engenharia Química.

Profissional com sólida experiência, capacitado e graduado em engenharia Ambiental, pós-graduação em Gestão Ambiental e Engenharia de Segurança do Trabalho, com atuação em Gestão Integrada (Saúde, Segurança do Trabalho e Meio Ambiente) em empresas de grande porte, tendo participação direta em planejamento estratégico, gestão de pessoas, trabalho em equipe, participação em adequações a novos projetos, processos industriais, gestão de riscos, segurança de processos químicos, auditorias das normas regulamentadoras do MTE, gerenciar o sistema de gestão ambiental (ISO 14001), tratamento de efluentes e as licenças ambientais. Coordenador e professor dos cursos nas áreas das engenharias da UNIFAVIP WYDEN e Membro de Núcleos Docente Estruturante.
