Diagnosis of the river basin committee of the Tramandaí River in the state of Rio Grande do Sul

Based on the National Water Resources Policy (PNRH), a parallel is made with the stages of diagnosis, definition and planning of actions, inherent to the process of elaboration of the Water Resources Plans, of the Hydrographic Basin of the Tramandaí River. And analyzes of documents and information from the CBHRT were also carried out. Pursuing the PNRH instruments that are part of the planning process developed by the National Water and Basic Sanitation Agency (ANA) and by the water resources management bodies together with the basin committees in view of the legal requirements. It can be highlighted the need to advance even further in all fields and themes that surround and drive us in defense of water and understand the importance of legislation regarding bodies of water in their biodiversity. From all this survey, studies and research on the Tramandaí River Basin (BH), it is possible to understand the importance of legislation regarding water bodies and all their diversity of origin, permanence, quality, use and preservation. It is understood that research institutions, monitoring, inspection bodies, and democratic spaces of representation and organization are extremely necessary so that we can advance even further in all fields and themes that surround and drive us in defense of water as an element essential for human, plant and animal life, for the soil, for the water cycle, for the performance of the climate balance, for the planet.
