In the last three decades, more than half of the Brazilian Cerrado has been transformed into monocultures. Brazil is seeking strategies to contain the destruction of the biome, through the creation of new monitoring and preservation areas, which are increasingly being studied by geotechnologies through erophotogrammetry and the production of digital maps. However, with population growth, the demand for water for direct consumption and for the production of food, goods and services has repercussions on problems concerning water insufficiency and pollution. This work aims to consider the anthropic use in areas of the Cerrado, collaborating in the construction of an environment of opportunity for increasing partnerships and solving socio-environmental conflicts, which aims to bring to light the preservation of natural resources in an increasingly busy scenario. by agribusiness. As this study is the result of a qualitative approach, which considered efficient water management systems, and to understand the proper use of water resources available in river basins, an analysis of society's participation through public data and information of regional river basin committees. It is concluded that a mandatory participatory plan in the hydrographic basins is necessary, in addition to promoting the analysis and approval of the planning for the rational use of water resources, through the feasibility of environmental studies of the current irrigation model and the use of these resources within the limits of hydrographic basins such as those found in the western region of Bahia.
