Analysis of the dynamics of occupation changes in the insular region of Ananindeua/PA

The islands that constitute the island regions of the cities located in the municipality of Ananindeua, and located in the Metropolitan Region of Belém, have characteristics that make them of great interest for the study of socioenvironmental issues. This research aimed was to investigate information about the territorial distribution, the location of the main communities and the current use and coverage of the soil in the insular region of Ananindeua from the application of geotechnologies. In the application of the methodology in the study of the dynamics of land use and occupation, the o software ENVI version 5.1, and multispectral images of Landsat 5 and 8 satellite, TM sensor and OLI sensor in the years of 2006, 2011 and 2016, respectively. Considering the global Kappa index, it can be said that the land cover map showed excellent quality in terms of classification accuracy. A class of greater variety in the orbit years was characterized by a dense forest, as well as the process of environmental protection through the use of data from the region demonstrates that the vegetation cover of the region in Ananindeua is in good condition of preservation.
