Learning in startup companies: a study at Achego, e-commerce of handicrafts from Paraiba

Learning is a phenomenon that can be explained from the experiences of the individuals in the context of performance. In this sense, the objective of this work is to understand how is the learning process of entrepreneurs working in startups. To this end, it sought from the design methodology of Grounded Theory (GT) approaching the phenomenon discussed, revealing its own nuances and characteristics. The operationalization of the study was mainly from semi-structured interviews with the closeness of entrepreneurs a startup company incubated in the Foundation of Paraíba Technology Park and with operations in the city of Campina Grande/PB, and included documents and data online to complement and strengthen the findings of the investigation. The results show that the learning process of the actors in startups occurs in different situations such as in the development of business activities, in interaction with the social, from the development of technological and conceptual skills and the experience of feelings that surround his performance. In addition, the configuration of organizational identity functions as a background able to drive its participants the need to shape their behavior, obtaining new skills, knowledge and developing skills necessary for action.
