Entrepreneurship facilitators and obstacles: the perception of business administration students at a university in Rio Grande do Norte

Nowadays there are several new companies in the market and among the various segments, and entrepreneurship is a broad process that must be understood in its aspects with regard to the factors that influence the choice of entrepreneurship. This study aims to identify facilitators and hinders to entrepreneurship under the perception of 129 students of Business Administration at a State University of Rio Grande do Norte. The methodology used was a quantitative and descriptive research through descriptive statistics. The main results highlight that the students reveal willingness to undertake, believe they have an innovative idea, technical knowledge, have business management skills. However, they do not know the laws and codes related to entrepreneurship, they do not have resources to star the business, and they also believe that the tax burden, labor legislation and economic situation of the country, as well as the difficulty of access to credit and lack of programs Governmental policies area barriers to entrepreneurship.
