Overview of scientific production using qualitative research in Brazilian high impact administrations

The present work deals with qualitative research in scientific production in Brazilian scientific journals of high impact in the area of Administration. The analysis was delimited the publications of the years (2015-2020), in the form of articles in national journals, in the strata with the highest evaluation of the Qualis / Capes System, in the Administration area, which totaled 337 articles. A documentary research, both bibliometric and critical review, is presented, which analyzed the mentioned production based on the following criteria: scientific production of articles on the theme Qualitative Research by year, its main authors, the most researched areas of administration, the methods / research strategy used, data collection techniques used in research, software used and the context of research conducted in qualitative research in administration. The lenses used for analysis, verified the high concentration of qualitative research, research related to Organizational Studies in its majority, as well as the prevalence of case study and content analysis in the treatment of data, having its origin from documents and interviews . The software most used in the research analyzed was the software NVIVO and Atlas TI.
