In recent decades, agriculture has received numerous technological advances, with the adoption of practices and machinery that effect plantations with greater sustainability and productivity. Among the innovations, drone technology, for example, offers a wide variety of possibilities for carrying out tasks and objectives. This technology has been applied to precision agriculture, aiming to optimize processes and increase productivity. In order to address the technological tools linked to the use of drones in agriculture, a literature review was carried out. The present systematic review had as a methodology the data collection on the digital platform "Web of Science" and used as a guiding question: "How are drones used in agriculture?", aiming to identify and describe the use of drones in agricultural production chains. Based on the literature reviewed, it was found that the number of published works is incipient compared to the advancement in technologies such as satellites and drones. However, they are complex due to factors involved in the acquisition process, but even so, drones are used to map territories, identify diseases, collect data and supply a database to assist the farmer in making decisions. decision. In agriculture, the economic and social impact on the global population, the use of technologies such as the Drone, can reduce work time and human labor, being a great ally in the improvement of agricultural processes.
