Remote sensing data provide interesting data for environmental surveys and give indications of the type of occupation that is taking place in a given territory. In states with great natural wealth, such as Amapá, these indicative analyzes should generate subsidies for the rational planning and occupation of the territory. For the preparation of the work, bibliographical references on the subject were consulted, mainly articles published in scientific journals. The spatial data of hotspots were downloaded from the website BD Queimadas of INPE, selected for the clipping of the state of Amapá, years 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. QGis 3.10 was used for the preparation of maps and spatial analysis. The quantification of hot spots in the state of Amapá showed an expressive variation in the presence of these occurrences in the state of Amapá. The year 2017 was the one with the highest incidence, in 2018 there was a decrease with a new increase in 2019 and a fall in 2020. Most hotspots are associated with the presence of classic occupation vectors, such as highways and agrarian reform projects. On the other hand, in protected areas, low incidences of hotspots were observed. It is expected that this research has contributed to understanding how hot spots are distributed in the state of Amapá, with due considerations regarding plant typology, seasonality and occurrences in the municipalities.
