Elements for developing teaching in higher education in Administration: a theoretical reflection

The present study seeks to understand, in the light of theoretical studies, the elements of educational practice in higher education in administration. Given this context and based on the experiences acquired in the Specialization in Teaching in Higher Education in Administration, the following question is proposed in this article as a guiding problem: what are the elements that constitute the educational practice in administration of professors from higher education institutions? To respond to this issue, the general objective is to develop a theoretical reflection on the constituent elements of educational practice in higher education in Business Administration. For this, the specific objectives are: to reflect on the role of teaching in the training of administrators; describe the teaching methods in administration; list the teaching skills in administration; demonstrate trends in management education; structure assessment as an element of teaching in administration; Finally, this article is expected to contribute to reflection on the training of Business Administration teachers who are able to mediate knowledge that is applicable to their students. In addition, it is expected that the proposals presented may contribute to improving the quality of management education in higher education, training professionals who are better prepared to face the challenges of the labor market and contributing to the economic and social development of the country.
