In a progressively competitive landscape, characterized by high competition and companies' demands for more qualified professionals, training is a fundamental requirement for individuals to enter the job market. This is because new knowledge and skills can become a distinguishing factor. The discussed theme can be important for both companies, which often struggle to recruit individuals whose profiles align with the required standards of knowledge and skills, and for employees who, lacking specific qualifications, may encounter difficulties in participating in selection processes. Therefore, this research aims to primarily discuss the relationship between professional training and labor market integration, drawing from the existing experiences within a training and technical courses company located in the municipality of Mossoró (RN). To achieve this, a descriptive, qualitative research approach and a case study were conducted within a company situated in the city of Mossoró (RN), focusing on the role of professional training in facilitating entry into new job positions. Through a semi-structured interview with the administrative manager and company co-owner, the relevance of training for professionals' careers was observed. With new knowledge and skills acquired from training, individuals can be developed, promoted, and integrated into the job market.
