This research focuses on studying beekeeping associated with socio-environmental responsibility. The main objective, in this sense, is to examine the production processes of the beekeepers of the Associação do Valparaíso, from the perspective of social and environmental responsibility practices in obtaining honey. The research is applied, exploratory and descriptive, with a qualitative and quantitative approach, consisting of bibliographic and field research. The results indicate that beekeepers adopt good production practices and guarantee the authenticity of honey, showing care for the environment. It is concluded, with this study, that the government must promote the strengthening of the beekeeping sector, especially through qualification courses, which encourage the practice allied to the principles of social responsibility.
