In a company, it is the responsibility of leaders to guide and coordinate employees in order to extract maximum commitment and productivity for the organization. However, depending on the way in which leadership exercised and applied in the work environment can arouse different behaviors and feelings on the team, which can lead to positive or negative results for the company. This article aims to assess how the leadership style applied by managers can influence the view of employee motivation and the organizational climate. To achieve the proposed objectives, this work used an exploratory and descriptive research with a qualitative and quantitative approach through two forms with structured questions, one for the leaders and the other for the employees, applied in person. The research results made it possible to identify the leadership styles applied to the company's team, as well as the effects it has on the motivation and organizational climate of employees. Despite identifying many positive factors during data analysis, some negative points were still evident, which demanded care and attention on the part of leaders. However, it was possible to verify that the leadership is efficient in its role, managing to maintain the commitment and productivity of the employees, thus guaranteeing the achievement of the goals and the success of the organization.
