Abstract

Basic sanitation is a fundamental instrument for the population's health, quality of life and for the environment. From a civil engineering point of view, sanitary systems are essential during the design stage of buildings. These engineering projects focused on the area of basic sanitation are called hydrosanitary projects. In this context, this work presents the problematic: What is the importance of the use of sanitary projects in the execution of the sewer systems? The main objective of this work is to evaluate the hydrosanitary system carried out at the Tocantinense Institute President Antônio Carlos of Porto Nacional - TO. The methodological approach will be through the evaluation of the hydrosanitary system of the university ITPAC / PORTO, which did not use any project to implement these systems. Technical surveys and data collection were carried out on facilities to evaluate possible interferences caused by the lack of hydraulic and sanitary projects and the proposal of an ideal sanitary project. Finally, this work emphasizes the importance of adopting a well-designed project in the health-care systems. Even when not required by public agencies, sanitary projects developed according to the norms allow the correct performance of the system, avoiding inconveniences after work, which can generate additional expenses with repairs and corrective measures.Sanitation is a fundamental instrument for the population's health, quality of life and the environment. The methodological approach will be through the evaluation of the ITPAC / PORTO water system, whose project was not used to implement these systems. Finally, this work highlights the importance of adopting a well-designed project in building sanitary systems. Even if not required by public agencies, sanitary projects prepared in accordance with the standards allow the correct performance of the system, avoiding inconveniences after work, which can generate additional expenses with repairs and corrective measures.
