IT and COBIT governance structures: a literature review

Abstract

The present study addresses the importance of investments in information technology and the positive impact on organizational performance. However, IT alone cannot guarantee such returns, as mechanisms are needed to structure departments, ensure alignment with the organization's strategy, justify and optimize investments. IT governance brings together formal mechanisms that allow executives to lead organizational structures and processes to ensure that IT functions in accordance with the organization's goals and strategies. In this sense, the present work has the purpose of dealing with IT and COBIT governance structures, their principles and meeting the needs of interested parties, in addition to verifying their contribution to the alignment of IT and Business strategies.

Graduada em Engenharia Ambiental e Sanitária pela Faculdade Pitágoras (2015), Pós Graduada em Sustentabilidade do Ambiente Construído pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2018) e Pós Graduada em Engenharia de Segurança do Trabalho pela PUC-Minas (2018), tenho experiência como Gerente de SGI, Implantação e manutenção do Sistema de Gestão Integrada ISO 9001:2015 (qualidade), ISO 14001:2015 (Meio Ambiente) e ISO 45001:2018 (Saúde e Segurança do Trabalho), compreendendo as atividades de desenvolvimento de sistemas, certificação, treinamentos, auditoria interna e de fornecedores, preparação de auditores internos. Planejamento e Controle de Produção; Implantação do Lean Manufactoring; Planejamento e controle de produção; Metodologia WCM (World Class Manufacturing), utilização do método VSM (Mapeamento do fluxo de valor), Desenvolvimento de Kaizen para redução dos estoques intermediários e das movimentações pela fábrica, melhorando os fluxos logísticos.
