A bibliometric survey of the use of images in the practice of public governance communication in municipal government portals

Abstract

A communication of the government with its citizens and the advancement of information ferramentas and contributed so that the State continuously seeks a better interaction and proximity with the population through its government portals on the internet. Dessa form, public communication is directly associated with public governance, represented by the State executing public policies. The manifestation of images on government platforms (sites) is the object of study of semiotics, one time that it organizes the production and compression of the meaning of verbal language. The objective of this work is to carry out a bibliometric survey of national and international publications concerning the use of images in the practice of communication of public governance to us, governed by two Brazilian municipalities and from other countries. A knowledge area of ​​study and Public Administration (Business, Management and Accounting). A methodological approach is used from bibliometric theory and the procedures for collecting data together with the Eric - Educational Resources Information Center, Google Scholar, Science Direct, Scopus and Web of Science bases. How many years are its objectives, in research and defined as exploratory-descriptive, and defined as applied, as long as its nature. The analyzes conducted demonstrate that, as a total undertaking of two research terms, including Public Communication, Public Governance, Semiotics and Image (s), none of the articles were found in the five bases used. Embora deserves to be highlighted or significant volume of articles that will return from day to day seeking to buy frações two terms of research, it is about scientific productions alheias to or object of investigation. The results suggest that this scientific deficit appointing does not present work could be revealing of a lower perception of two cities in relation to the two government portals of two municipalities. In addition, due to the breadth of significance of the semiotic study field, the results also suggest that there would be no increase in the number of data bases or robustness shown, that scientific production is more evident in bibliographic surveys of its nature.
