Scenarios of Strategic Foresight in the 5G telecommunications sector: a spectrum of opportunities in Digital Transformation

In the age of Digital Transformation, innovative technologies often change the
established value propositions and render the traditional methods of
strategic planning. In this article, we introduce the use of business modeling.
-based scenario to explore the mobile communications network (5G) industry of
fifth generation. We discussed four scenarios that were developed in an effort
between different marketing perspectives. Then we describe the
Strategic Foresight approach which is a prospective process of anticipating and
scenario building to guide action to build the strategic vision of the future
appropriation, breadth, depth and use of rigorous and
collaborative. This approach complements traditional techniques by integrating
multidimensional changes, from innovation technology, regulation, dynamism of
value chain and evolution of the value proposition. It is also concluded that the contribution
and the approach to building the strategic vision of the future of organizations
5G technology through the prospective process and scenario building is
particularly valuable in environments characterized by a high level of uncertainty and
complexity.
