Quality of life of technical and administrative staff: a study in postgraduate programs

The objective of this study is to analyze the Quality of Life at Work (QWL) of the technical-administrative staff of the Graduate Programs coordinators of the Technological Center of a higher education institution. To achieve this purpose, a questionnaire based on the Walton model (1973) was used. The sample consisted of 100% of the technical-administrative staff of the Technological Center coordinators. The results showed that the servers have a 40% satisfaction rate with QWL, however, there are still aspects that need to be improved, such as compensation to the work performed, perspective of professional career growth, time and time stability. of leisure. The results indicate that the servers have a satisfactory index with QVT. However, there are still aspects that need improvement, such as compensation for the work performed, perspective of professional career growth, stability of time and leisure time. It is concluded that there is a need for initiatives for structuring and applying QWL programs in the public sector, with the purpose of combining work and education.
