Organizational learning has been consolidated as fundamental to responding to the changes experienced by organizations. This theoretical-empirical research discusses the organizational learning process in moments of crisis. The study is based on the main theories about the individual and organizational learning process. The results demonstrate organizational learning is a complex phenomenon and that there is no exclusive way to overcome organizational crises. A solid technical and theoretical training is necessary, as well as actions that derive from empirical knowledge and understanding of the environment, associated with continuous learning, innovation, and the ability to prototype, experiment, make quick corrections, improvise and continuously improve the system so that it becomes increasingly more adaptable and flexible.
