The appreciation of technological innovation has boosted academic entrepreneurship and valued the performance of Technology-Based Business Incubators. However, the processes developed by these environments still need improvement and management. The objective of this study is to contribute to the management of the incubation process of innovative ventures in the UEPA Technology Incubator Network (RITU) by proposing the mapping of its processes based on BPM (Business Process Management) in line with the guidelines of the CERNE Model of Management. Initially, a literature review was carried out, identifying the current conceptions of innovation processes in business incubators. Then, the mapping of the current RITU processes (Current State Map - MEA) and diagnosis was carried out, which enables the evaluation of the maintenance or exclusion of current processes, as well as the proposition of new processes, resulting in a Transition Map. New processes were proposed, with a view to enhancing the best alignment between the results generated and the objectives of the RITU, presented in a Future State Map (MEF) more suited to its current peculiarities. As a result, the alignment of internal processes with institutional objectives and strategies was promoted, as well as the updated and systematic management of the incubator's actions to support the maturity of the incubated enterprises, guided by dynamic and current development paths, clear strategies, defined processes and organized. The article intends to be an instrument for formalizing knowledge about incubation management that can be shared with other entities and thus also contribute to the management of innovation in other institutions.
