Nowadays consumers are more and more demanding, however, the care in inspecting the goods or services acquired through the purchase has always existed. Over the past century, the concept of quality has evolved. Initially, in the age of inspection, there was only visual control. Consequently, there is the era of statistical control, which arose due to mass production. In 1950, Armand Feigenbaum's first systemic approach emerged, called total quality control. Quality management, when done effectively, offers many benefits to an organization, such as: increased customer satisfaction, reduced operating costs, improved productivity, increased competitiveness and improved profitability. For that, the quality tools are techniques used for the analysis and resolution of problems that affect the performance of the processes. This work aims to evaluate the impacts of quality tools used in the clothing industry, in Teófilo Otoni - Vale do Mucuri and Jequinhonha / MG.
