Entrepreneurship can be understood as the art of making things happen with creativity and motivation. The agricultural sciences demand the development of an entrepreneurial vision in the face of the vigorous market, presenting itself as fundamental for the professional training of young academics. The objective of this work was to provide a training experience to students from agriculture sciences and related ones from the Universidade Federal de Sergipe. In order to fulfill the proposed objective, a cycle of workshops was carried out, working with the dissemination of values and techniques of agile managers and the practice of entrepreneurship, to promote business in the rural production area. Through the Empreenda Agro Sustentável Program, based on the application of active methodologies, 15 teams discussed and matured in startup models. Participants involved in one of the stages (workshops) enhance their visits to entrepreneurs, by making contact with methods that are not yet covered in the regular academic studies of undergraduate courses in agricultural sciences. This research presents an important discussion on active educational methodologies in the form of a university extension program. Another contribution is an interdisciplinarity between the areas of agricultural sciences and the development of entrepreneurial education.
