Abstract

Corporate education is relevant to management of contemporary companies, due to its strategic role in achieving results and competitiveness, because its dynamics consists of a continuous process of educational actions aimed at expanding human competences which, interacting with other resources and capabilities, support the organizational strategy. However, it is essential that corporate education processes are designed with the logic of enhancing learning. Thus, from this perspective, the present study is based on two relevant contributions: i) on the principles that constitute andragogy and how they cooperate considerably to provide a better understanding of the characteristics of the corporate apprentice; and, ii) in the active learning methodologies applicable to the corporate context, which favor the achievement of meaningful learning and, in parallel, solve specific demands of the adult. Therefore, this study, through bibliographic research, aims to know the andragogical principles and active methodologies as a way to optimize learning in Corporate Education. The result of this work, can be used as a research source, by Consultants, Managers, Instructors, Facilitators and Analysts, during the planning phase of educational action programs in companies.
