Abstract

Aesthetic procedures are being increasingly used by people who seek from personal satisfaction with their appearance, to those who have psychological problems, the skin being a coating that separates and protects the whole body, being exposed to damages that can change its state. of naturalness, resulting in aesthetic errors. Even when dealing with superficial damages that do not cause harm to the health of the individual, the emergence of these damages is capable of causing great embarrassment and discomfort to the individual, directly affecting their inclusion in the social environment. Currently, several products, devices and aesthetic instruments are created. One of the treatments that has shown great efficiency in this segment is microneedling, currently becoming one of the most popular aesthetic treatments in the world, being used for the treatment of various skin inaccuracies, such as; pigmentation problems, wrinkles, furrows, acne, atrophic scars, post-burn scars, and also in facial rejuvenation as part of collagen induction therapy and for the delivery of active ingredients, with few side effects, low cost, fast healing as attractive , either by permeation of actives or stimulation of collagen. Over time, the technique has been improving in new treatments and promising challenges of aesthetic improvement in conjunction with conventional therapy, including alopecia, scars and burns.
