This research aimed to analyze the national scientific productions on the actions taken by Brazilian nurses to guide and prevent teenage pregnancy. Having the systematic review as method, a bibliographic query was made at the databases of the Online Scientific Electronic Library (SCIELO); Latin American and Caribbean Health Sciences Literature (LILACS) and Nursing Database (BDENF), according to the methodology Preferred report items for systematic reviews and meta-analyzes (PRISMA). Articles in Portuguese, which focused on the prevention of teenage pregnancy by medical practices and nursing tests in the period from 2009 to 2019 were included, on the other hand, articles that did not meet these conditions were excluded. We found 73 articles, but only 6 fulfilled the data inclusion criteria by the PRISMA method. Regarding nursing practice for the prevention of teenage pregnancy, 100% of the articles presented this approach, it includes 4 articles that addresses the adoption of round of conversation and adolescent groups; 2 works about educational workshops; 2 works about dynamics and educational games; 1 addresses the approach to adolescents only when they are facing a nursing consultation; 1 produced a movie based on actual facts over the topic. Note that these methods, when applied, make a great contribution to change the perception of this audience. In short, nursing contribution to their educational practices may decrease teenage pregnancy rates.
