Abstract

This article aims to describe the panorama of research in environmental education in journals in the areas of Administration, Accounting and Tourism. We used the bibliometric analysis. We did search for the term Environmental Education in the databases Scielo (Scientific Electronic Library Online) and Spell (Pediodicals Scientific Electronic Library). We found 58 articles in this database. The articles were published from 1998 to 2015. The most discussed topics are the use of environmental education in the business sector, in undergraduate programs and graduate programs and issues related to public administration. This shows that environmental education emerges organizations with the capacity or interest to carry out awareness campaigns or interest in the formal study of the subject in the universities. The consolidation of reference authors for the area is incipient. This result can be influenced by the interdisciplinarity that issue permits and also for choosing the area of periodicals and by no specialty of journals on the subject. The results also show an increase of publications between the years 2011 and 2015, compared to previous periods. The results also show the prevalence of use of qualitative research methodologies.

Mauricio João Atamanczuk, Universidade Positivo

Graduado em Administração pela Universidade Estadual do Centro-Oeste (2004), mestre em Engenharia de Produção pela Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná (2009) e doutor em Administração pela Universidade Positivo (2016). Possui experiência profissional nas áreas de administração comercial e logística. Professor da Universidade Estadual do Centro-Oeste desde julho de 2005 atuando principalmente nas disciplinas de Administração da Produção e Logística.
